Doctrinal Statement

I believe in the triune God. God the Father, the Creator, Ruler, and Sustainer of the universe. God the Son, Jesus Christ, Who lived a sinless life then died for mankind’s atonement; rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven and yet, is now a constant presence in the lives of His children; and Who, one day, will return to rule and reign forever God the Holy Spirit who, through fallible men, inspired the infallible Word of God and lives today to convict the world of sin and intercede for God’s children.

I believe I am a sinner in need of a Savior and that Savior is Jesus Christ.

I believe in the gospel as the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Through it, we obtain forgiveness for our sins, salvation for our soul, strength, and hope for today, and a glorious future after our death.

I believe in the processes and promises of old words like justification, sanctification, and glorification, whose beauty awes and overwhelms me.

I believe that Satan, while real and seeking to destroy lives, desires ultimately to have the glory deserved by and reserved only for God; that he has no power over true believers and one day will ultimately be vanquished.

I believe that all beauty is God’s beauty, that His grace is always available to all people, and that, whether I see it now or not, God’s love not only will win but does win every day.
